A couple days ago I was listening to an MLSP Morning Wake-up call with Jaime Soriano and he shared with us 4 Success Tips for growing your business. I thought Jaime had some very good points so I wanted to share these success tips with you today so they may help you in your life as well.

Success Tips #1 – Growing A Business Takes Time

Many people see building a home business as the quick way to success. Granted if you have a great coach and you really apply yourself you will be able to achieve a much better lifestyle in a shorter time than the traditional route, but this doesn’t mean in a couple of months.

I talk to people all the time that gave growing a home business a try in the past and it didn’t work for them. I ask them how long they tried and I usually get 3-6 months. You really need to read through these success tips again when you are done because there is no failing in this industry, the only reason it won’t work for you is if you quit. You have to realize that you didn’t get into your current situation overnight and you’re not going to get into a better lifestyle overnight either.

Success Tips #2 – Staying Plugged In Is Key

In order for you to be successful, you need to be around and talk to successful people all the time. You can do this by staying plugged into everything your company is doing. If they are holding an event, make sure you get there one way or another. If they are having a training call, make sure you’re on the call.

Every weekday MLSP holds a morning wake-up call; do you think I’m on that call every day? You Bet! I get to learn from 6 and 7 figure income earners. They are always sharing their best success tips with those of us on the phone. The best way for me to be as successful as they are is to learn from them and do what they do. Their knowledge and experience is invaluable to a new person in this industry. You would be surprised how much you can learn from just staying plugged in.

Success Tips #3 – Include Your Spouse

If you’re married or have a significant other, one of the worst things you can do is to not involve them in your business in some way. Find out what their dreams are in life, what their goals are and involve them in your business goals. Have your spouse read these success tips too. The more your spouse or significant other is involved the better.

Just think about how much more fun growing your business will be if you have their support rather than them fighting you all along the way.

You want to know the fastest way to get them involved? Start bringing home some checks from your business. You won’t hear any complaining in the house as soon as some checks start coming in the door.

Success Tips #4 – Save Your Money

This doesn’t mean

Don’t spend money on tools that will help you grow your business
Don’t spend money on going to company events
Don’t spend money on your company’s products

This means you need to learn to really manage your money. The sooner you can start saving some money, the sooner you can start having a better lifestyle. In the beginning you may not be able to save much at all. But as you move on, you’ll have your strategy of saving money built in and you’ll be able to just keep increasing your amount.

If you read any of the wealth building books out there they will talk about a principal called Pay Yourself First. Open a separate bank account, and before you pay any bills, pay for any tools, etc. Put a certain amount of money in this account every week or month. So, regardless of what happens your savings are growing. As your business improves, simply increase how much goes into this account. As your bank account grows you see a change in yourself and it will affect your business as well.
