Would you like to be an MLM Pro? Do you have any idea what it takes to be an MLM Pro? Let me be right up front with you. You’ve probably heard the failure rate in the MLM Industry is about 95%.

That means that only about 5% of the people who get started in this industry take it seriously. You have to decide which one you’ll be. Before you make a quick decision though, let’s talk a little more about what it takes to be an MLM Pro.

MLM Pro – Are There Many Out There?

How many people do you know that tried to be a Network Marketing Pro? On the other hand, how many people do you know that have tried some form of Network Marketing and failed? Probably a lot more right?

Now think about the income of each of these. What kind of income does the MLM Pro have versus the people that have failed? You probably see the MLM Leader being very successful, growing their business and always having a smile on their face. Look at the flip side, the other people are working with people they don’t want to, they are working more hours than they want to, they aren’t making as much money as they would like to, they don’t have as much time off as they wish they had and they probably don’t smile all that much.

You see there’s a reason you don’t find an MLM Pro around every corner. Let’s get into that now.

What Does It Take To Be An MLM Pro?

When you think of what it takes to be an MLM Pro, what do you think of? Surprisingly, it’s not really what you think. People don’t have to be a:

  • Genius
  • Smooth Talker
  • Great Salesman
  • Beautiful
  • Charming
  • Lucky

You don’t need to be any of these things to be an MLM Leader. Surprised? I know I was when I first learned this. When you see a really successful MLM Pro, they seem to have quite a few of these qualities. What really happened is they developed those qualities over time. Here are some of the habits you do need to have to be an MLM Pro though.

MLM Pro Habit #1 – Goals Defined

I learned a long time ago that you can never achieve your goals if you don’t have any. MLM Pros have definite goals. They don’t have wishes, they have real goals. An MLM Pro sets their mind to their goals and they set out to accomplish them, whatever it takes and they never, ever Quit!

When you are creating your goals you need to figure out what you Why is. Your why is the reason you are becoming an MLM Pro. Your why needs to be bigger than you because you are going to hit bumps in the road along the way. Your why needs to be big enough to get you over those bumps and keep you moving towards your goals.

MLM Pro Habit #2 – Great Attitude

Who would you rather be around? People who are successful and positive or people who are not successful and negative? I think the answer is pretty easy right? Well, you need to apply this same question to your life. How do you want others to see you? A great attitude is contagious.

Have you ever ran into someone who was just in a great mood and after you talked to them just for a few minutes you already were in a better mood yourself? Don’t be one of those negative people. Be positive about your business and to the people you meet. You will be surprised how much faster your business will grow when you maintain a great attitude.

MLM Pro Habit #3 – Commitment To Being A Student

You have to realize that no one is just born an Network Marketing Pro. The same goes for any profession you could get into. This industry is no different. The biggest difference though is you can spend hundreds of thousands of dollars going to college and still not be guaranteed a great job. Or you can work your regular job, study how to be an MLM Pro on the side and for a whole lot less money I might add.

Understand that you will never know it all. You will never feel like you have everything mastered. It’s OK! You simply need to find what you like doing and become an expert at it. Most MLM Pros are experts in one portion of the industry. They focus on helping others learn about that specific piece of the puzzle and as they teach others they are in effect growing their business at the same time.
