How would you define Internet Network Marketing success? Before we can even talk about Internet Network Marketing success, you need to know what it is in the first place.

Internet Network Marketing is simply internet and network marketing put together. You use Internet Marketing Strategies to build relationships for your Network Marketing business.

A thought may come to you that if you go through some internet network marketing training you will never have to do any offline marketing again, but this just isn’t true. There are a rare few who have built a successful income only using Internet Marketing Strategies, but it is not common.

At the end of the day you’re still going to have talk to people.

Types on Internet Network Marketing

There are two main types of Internet Network Marketing.

Active Internet Network Marketing
Passive Internet Network Marketing

Active Internet Network Marketing

There are many ways to do Active Internet Network Marketing like connecting with people on Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, the new Google+, Hi5 and many other social media sites.

Active in this case means you are connecting with other people and building relationships. This may be real time in a chat window or it even could be by sending messages back and forth. This is as close to traditional Network Marketing as you can get for being online.

This is where many people go wrong. They just start sending out tons of friend requests with the same generic message and wonder why no one accepts their requests. This is basically a version of spamming and totally the wrong way to build relationships. Think about it this way. Would you do that if you met a person face to face? I doubt it.

You need to take a look at their information. See what they like, what they don’t like and see if you have anything in common with them. Send them a message that shows you really took an interest in them. You’ll be surprised at how much better of an accept rate you get.

Passive Internet Network Marketing

Passive Internet Network Marketing is where you are still working on building relationships with people but you are not talking to them or sending them messages like before in social media sites.

This would be more where for instance you found me through this blog post. You like what you read and decide to check out a few more of my articles, you see I offer some free training to help you and decide to get my RSS feed so you can learn more. I am building a relationship with you as you can see you can trust me and I have information that can help you even though I am not actually talking to you.

There are many different ways to do Passive Internet Network Marketing. Here are a few.

Blog posts
Article marketing
Video marketing
Pay Per Click (Google, YouTube, Facebook, etc.)
Craigslist

Some of these methods take more time upfront but can create a great residual income for you and your business. You’ll want to continue to build these relationships through ways like email. You’ll want to send them regular updates to let them know what you’re up to and to show them see you can help them.

Using Both Active and Passive Internet Network Marketing

To benefit the most, you should use both types of Internet Network Marketing. You can do this simply by sharing your blog posts on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter. This will also allow your followers to share your information with people they know as well. If they can see your post provides value, why wouldn’t they share it with others?
